Why choose a taxi?

Venice is a city built on water. Since its foundation, every building and every street has been designed and built with the aim of being easily accessible through marine transport.

Public transport connects only a few points of Venice, and they do it at high costs for a casual tourist. Moreover, moving outside the city center many boarding points are served by public transport only for a limited number of hours a day, with intervals between one ride and another that can reach sixty minutes.

The easiest and fastest way to get around Venice is by water taxi: a private solution, which allows you to almost always reach the precise place you want, saving the long queues and inconvenience of public transport and more quickly. In addition, by choosing to share a taxi trip you can reduce costs, with a considerable economic journey that will allow you to travel with all the benefits of a private service at costs on average lower than those of public transport.

Can I choose the route?

For our travels we always choose the shortest route to take you to destination. However, at the request of the customer and with an additional fee we can extend the trip, passing through the great and fascinating grand canal; along this route you can admire the most beautiful jewels of Venetian architecture, such as the Rialto Bridge, the Church of Salute and the Guggenheim Museum. We can also take you or pick you up at the Lido of Venice and all the main islands of the lagoon.

Is there a nightly supplement to move around Venice?

Yes. For night transfers (from 22:00 to 7:00) we will apply a supplement of € 10.00 to all rates.

Can the water taxi reach any hotel or apartment?

In most cases, the answer is yes. In some cases, it may not be possible to take you exactly to your destination due to the tide being too low or too high. In particular, on some days when there are problems of high or low tide it may not be possible to reach the piers of these hotels:

  • Hotel Bonvecchiati
  • Bonvecchiati Palace
  • Campo Della Guerra (landing point for Hotel Città di Milano, Hotel San Zulian and Hotel Montecarlo)

In the unfortunate event that it is not possible to disembark you at one of these piers, we will still try to disembark you less than 150 meters from your destination or less than five minutes away on foot.

How many people can travel simultaneously in a water taxi?

The maximum occupancy of a taxi is 10 people. If you ask us to carry 11 or more people, we will send you two or more taxis.

The basic fare provides that you can take up to a maximum of four people and four pieces of luggage on the taxi. If you have to carry five or more people you will be charged a supplement of € 10.00 for each additional person. Each additional paying person has the right to take a single piece of luggage with them free of charge.

How much luggage can I take in a water taxi?

On board a taxi you can bring up to a maximum of 12 luggage. The sale price already includes the possibility of carrying up to four pieces of luggage. If you have already paid extra to bring more than four people on board the taxi, each additional person has the right to take one piece of luggage with them. A surcharge of €3.00 per bag will be applied to each extra piece of baggage.

I need to travel from the airport to Venice or other islands. Will you pick me up by speedboat at the Airport?

For airport transfers we prefer to take advantage of a combined transport system by car and by boat: we will send one of our representatives to pick you up at the airport, which will take you to Venice, up to Piazzale Roma next to a canal. Here you will find our boat waiting for you to conclude your transfer to your final destination.

This system offers advantages not only to us but also to the customer. To reach the dock from the airport where water taxis land you should follow a path of about 12 minutes on foot. Coming instead to pick you up with a car, as soon as you leave the gate you will find our representative waiting for you and you can immediately get into the car; the exit of the airport is in fact only a few tens of meters.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes. We will refund the full cost of the service if you contact us at +39 351 143 0708 or by email at at least 24 hours before the start of your service.

Can I change my reservation and move it to another day and/or another time?

Yes. You can inform us of the change of date and / or time by calling us at the telephone number +39 351 143 0708 or by email at

  • If the original time of the service to be changed is scheduled between 08:00 and 22:00, you must notify us of the time change with at least 2 hours notice.

  • If the original time of the service to be modified is scheduled between 22:00 and 08:00 you must notify us of the time change with at least 8 hours notice.

In the event that you are unable to notify us of the time change on time, at our discretion we may decide to apply a penalty from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 100 percent to the cost of the service.

In the event that after contacting us and requesting a change of time, it is not possible for us to carry out the service on the new date and / or at the new time provided by you, we will refund you totally or partially the cost of the reservation.

I have not received a booking confirmation email, what do I do?
